The Brief (Challenge)

The global brand required a modern, secure platform to increase its sales share within Poland's largest discount chain. The strategic objective was to move beyond a traditional contest and create a mechanism that not only stimulates purchases but builds a lasting user base and encourages regular brand interaction. The key challenge was maintaining consumer engagement post-transaction and precisely managing the logistics of rewards on a national scale.

Viramity in Action (The Solution)

We utilized the lightweight, modern Viramity engine to launch the "Lipton Yellow Brings Joy" platform, operating in a hybrid model: a receipt-based contest merged with a long-term loyalty program.

  • PWA (Progressive Web App): Leveraging PWA technology allowed users to instantly install the platform on their mobile home screens without visiting App Stores, creating a permanent touchpoint with the brand.
  • Receipt Validation Engine: Implemented verification module for purchase claims, essential for handling the massive scale of transactions in the retail network.
  • Point System & Loyalty Program: A mechanism for collecting points for every verified receipt, which users could exchange for guaranteed rewards or use to participate in periodically activated "drops".
  • Drop Management: A proprietary Viramity feature for scheduling and automatically launching periodic activations with limited reward pools, building anticipation and stimulating repeat purchases.
  • Gamification Module (Quizzes): Introduced engagement mechanics allowing users to earn points for their knowledge about Lipton products, effectively extending session times on the platform.
  • Virtual Warehouse & Logistics: Full back-office integration with the shipping process, allowing for real-time inventory management and distribution monitoring.
