The Brief (Challenge)

Philips sought a modern format to showcase the versatility of its Airfryers and drive growth for the HomeID app ecosystem. The goal was to solve a common consumer pain point—"what can I cook with what I have?"—while firmly positioning the Airfryer as a healthier, more efficient alternative to the microwave. The project required a tool that was fast, intuitive, and utilized the cutting-edge capabilities of LLM (Large Language Models) technology.

The Solution

We leveraged Viramity’s flexible architecture to deploy an advanced "what-to-cook" AI tool, fully integrated with the brand's product portfolio:

  • whatsinfridge.ai Engine (Generative AI): Implementation of a sophisticated AI model that analyzes any ingredient combination and generates real-time recipes optimized for Philips device specifications.
  • Voice-to-Recipe Interface: A speech recognition module allowing users to dictate ingredients hands-free, significantly enhancing the UX in a kitchen environment.
  • Smart Product Matching: A dynamic carousel module showcasing specific Airfryer models (e.g., Avance Twin TurboStar, XXL) tailored to the search context, complete with direct "Order now" retail links.
  • Value Converter (Interactive Compare): An interactive slider comparing Airfryer vs. microwave cooking, highlighting acrylamide reduction and nutrient preservation.
  • HomeID Ecosystem Integration: Strategic CTAs that seamlessly guide the user from a generated recipe to downloading the HomeID mobile app for further inspiration.
  • Enterprise-grade security: Advanced safe-guards to protect users from entering potentially harmfull or illegal ingredients.
