The Brief

Promoting a new series of gaming laptops required reaching a demanding audience of gamers who are notoriously resistant to traditional advertising. The core strategic objective was not just to stimulate sales at selected partners, but to create a unique added value that would distinguish the Dell brand from its competitors. The challenge was to design a mechanism that would turn a one-off transaction into a long-term relationship, offering users continuous benefits and reasons to return to the platform.

Viramity in Action (The Solution)

We leveraged the full power of Viramity’s gamification modules to build a comprehensive reward and activity hub called "Grabonament":

  • "Grabonament" Mechanism: Implemented a purchase verification system that automatically unlocked guaranteed game bundles (up to 6 titles) for users immediately upon registering their hardware.
  • Virtual Currency System (dellcoins): Deployed a proprietary points system where users earned "dellcoins" for platform activity, forming the backbone of the program's internal economy.
  • Mission Module: Utilized Viramity’s activation engine to serve periodic tasks and challenges, allowing users to earn extra bonuses and maintaining high retention levels.
  • Partner Integrations: Synchronized the centralized system with external partners (including Muve.pl and Cinema City), enabling users to exchange dellcoins for game codes, cinema vouchers, or physical gear like Diablo gaming chairs.
  • Virtual Warehouse: Provided full management of both digital and physical prize inventories, ensuring instant reward distribution with zero operational lag.

Thanks to the stability and flexibility of our technology, the third edition of "WE ARE THE GAME" became a benchmark in the gaming category:

  • Deep Loyalty: Transformed buyers into an active community that regularly logged into the Dell system to complete new missions and claim rewards.
  • Ecosystem Synergy: Successfully aligned the interests of hardware manufacturers (Dell, Intel), game distributors (Muve.pl), and lifestyle brands within a single, frictionless UX.
  • Scalability: The system flawlessly handled the massive traffic generated by a nationwide promotional campaign across Poland's largest electronics retailers.
